I have encounter a lot of different types of pressures during college. Working and going to school full time wasn't easy. It's pretty much stressed out when the classes are given out homeworks. You got to go to work after class and come back home eat food then shower from long day. Not much time to study or do your homework. College does getting expensive, I keep wondering where all these money go to. Some college are charging students from $20-100 or more to help supports their football league for newer stadium and equipements. I kept thinking, it's not fair for them who actually does go to school and not really participate in sports but for education itself. Things makes some students angry since economic went down and slowly rebound. I have no idea how things had been since Recession. Is it being to rebound, still the same, or is it going back down the hill? Student needs to be able to work to live or they are facing more serious problems.
My mom was student at North Dakota State University when she has three kids (my two other brothers). It was pretty hard for my mom to focus since we were all wild and loudly. I immediately knew not to have kids until I finish school and my life is out of the real world becomes normal. That would be the best time to build up more confidence about being parents.
College pressure for myself is always high like to the stress level only when I don't keep up studying or doing my homeworks on time. I tend to wait to the last minutes and do them. I'm trying not to do that because it's not fun and not healthy to be stressed out all the times. I'm glad my major is Athletic Training and our classes has small numbers of student enrolled. We all Athletic Trainers students works together and educating ourselves with practicing experience skills on ourselves. Practices makes things better and would be more confidence in appraching the athletes for whatever they needs like taping or rehabing process. Without them, I would probably be not pushing myself in continuing with this program.
Tips to be not in pressure or stress situations. Keep up with your study for test, homeworks, go to tutors if need helps, have feedbacks, friends who be there for you, prepare and organizing your things, be happy, do things that enjoys yourself like playing video games or take the dogs out for walk or working out, be on time, and positive attitudes. These helped me a lot through college knowing you can do it!
