Hello, I'm Shane Winkenwader. I am deaf and very athletic person. I could play any sports you could name of but not wonderful in basketball, ha. My life had been challenging with hearing loss, I had overcame many obstacles. During swimming meet, I don't want to have more bright flash at the start which was offered to me. I just want to be normal and fair with others. All I can't do is hear, and everything else I can do just like hearing people. Many stories happens and goes on. Just live your life to the fullest.
Other than that, I got two more years left to take with only 15 classes left to pass to graduation. Pretty near to be done. My major's Athletic Training. Its great to see athletic recovery from injury and to prevent from injury to happens. Reason why I picked this because it best suit me for future job. I initally picked United State Coast Guard but couldn't due to hearing loss. Anyway, I can't waiting to graduate soon then move north where there would be lots of snow all the times during winter. =)
